Big Mushamush

Big Mushamush Lake is a beautiful, clear water lake in southwestern Nova Scotia. Known for its Smallmouth Bass fishing, it features an abundance of islands, sandy beaches, secluded coves, and rocky outcroppings which provide a wide range of shoreline habitat and angling experiences. There is also plenty of deep water areas for boating. There is a concrete launch ramp off of Harold Silver Road, which was installed and is maintained by the South Shore Bass Anglers Association. Due to limited parking, after launching, park along Harold Silver road.

This 1200 hectare lake is very scenic and the adjacent Mushamush Beach Park is opened seasonally. Known locally as "Big Mush", this lake will not disappoint.
