Cameron Lake
Just a 20 minute drive south of Antigonish, you'll find Cameron Lake - a popular lake to fish in Antigonish County that is stocked regularly with both Rainbow & Brook Trout in recent years. On the northwest edge off of Pinevale Road, there is ample parking space where you can access the lake via shore and the boat launch. Nearby, you can fish Gillis Lake as well - this lake is also stocked. Both Cameron and Gillis offer an extended season for trout fishing, giving you even more chance to land a nice one!

However, accessible needs vary from person to person, so we provide details about selected site features, along with photos, to help visitors determine whether a location will meet their individual needs. - A gravel parking lot is present on site with 2 accessible parking spaces
- Path to fishing platform is compact crusher dust with minimal obstacles along the way
- An easy access floating dock is present
- The fishing platform is provided with edge protection in the form of railings, with a bottom rail located 100mm above the platform
- The boat launch ramp is easy to access on site. The layout of the site allows for easy access to the boat launch ramp, parking is located close to the boat launch ramp, and the launch ramp does not require users to cross a public road
- Public washrooms are not provided on site
- The picnic tables are easy to access on site. The sheltered picnic area has a step on one side of the platform and a short, ramped pathway up to the front of the platform
