Gold River

Nestled comfortably in and amongst some of the south shore's most beautiful coves, the Gold River offers stunning remote fishing opportunities for both trout and Smallmouth Bass anglers alike. Skerry Falls Trailhead will lead you on a hike to one of the Gold River's upstream waterfalls. This river can be accessed just off Highway 103, which will also take you to a number of popular attractions along Nova Scotia's south shore, including various coves, beaches, and historical Lunenburg.
