Grant's Pond

Graciously shared by the Grant family and developed by the Middle River Watershed Society, Grant's Pond offers barrier free access fishing for Brook Trout in this provincially stocked pond. Its central location within some of Cape Breton's most beautiful mountainous views makes visiting this fishing site a perfect day trip on the island for both anglers and nature lovers, alike. A short drive north along the Cabot Trail Road will take you to a favourited rest spot at Lake-O-Law Provincial Park, which has an accessible viewing platform.
