River Denys

Fall
Spring
Summer

Just a 35 minute drive from the Canso Causeway, River Denys is particularly well known to those looking to land some of Nova Scotia's finest Brook Trout. Opportunity to catch our province's official fish species is available to you on this river in the spring and summer months - a time when the island truly comes alive for anglers. A short drive further inland will take you to Orangedale, where a public boat launch can be used to access beautiful basins that are a part of our great Bras d'Or Lake. Inland Cape Breton is surely not to be missed!
