Robert Chiasson

I am a dedicated fly fisherman and Atlantic Salmon fly fishing guide on Nova Scotia's famous Margaree, as well as the Cheticamp, Middle, Baddeck and North rivers. I grew up on the banks of the Cheticamp River at the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands National Park on the Cabot Trail and have lived here all of my life. My Dad introduced me to fly fishing for Atlantic Salmon as a young teenager. My passion for fly fishing, the salmon and the rivers grew and I became a Nova Scotia registered fishing guide in the early 90's. Since then I have guided people from all over the world, from experts to first time anglers. I am as comfortable discussing advanced casting and fly fishing techniques as I am teaching the uninitiated first timer. I am bilingual and grew up speaking both Canadian languages (French & English) fluently.
